Summer time brings us an abundance of wonderful fruit options, so why just stick to eating them the old fashioned way.
Get creative and serve your fruit ice cold on a stick!
Here’s a wonderful recipe to be getting on with:-
2 tablespoons loose-leaf black tea, or 3 bags
1 cup of hot water
3 tablespoons of honey
3 cups of pitted dark set cherries, divided
Steep tea in hot water for a minimum of 5 minutes, but no longer than 10 minutes.
Once it has done steeping, discard the loose tea or tea bags.
In a blender combine the tea, honey and 2 cups of cherries until smooth.
Pulse the remaining cup of cherries until the mixture is slightly chunky.
Pour the mixture into ice pop molds and freeze according to mold instructions.
Makes approximately 10 servings.
