It doesn’t matter what book or article you are reading or what documentary you watch or which health care provider you talk to, all will agree that vegetables are good for you and most people don’t eat enough. Celery is a delicious low calorie snack which is ideal for dipping but did you know that snacking on celery is actually good for your health as well? A wonderful way to enjoy this veggie is roasted with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper, bringing the flavor of celery to a whole new level.

Small but mighty with a delicious crunch. These cute little red veggies are rich in vitamin C which help to give your immune system a boost, and are also rich in fiber. Radishes also have an incredibly high water content making it an excellent way to keep your hydration levels up.

#4: CARROTS

Even kids love carrots!  Rich in fiber and vitamin C, the vibrant orange color indicates the high carotenoid content which had been shown to reduce the risk of certain cancers.

#5: BRUSSEL SPROUTS

Trending heavily in most restaurants these days, brussel sprouts are becoming a real favorite. They are rich in folic acid, B-vitamins, and are also loaded with vitamins C, K, and are a rich source of potassium. So don’t just bring them out for holiday gatherings a couple of times a year, enjoy as often as you can and reap the benefits.
